Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data Guria Diaries collects, why, who handles it for us, how long we keep it, and your rights. We follow India's Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules. This policy is also written to meet the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and its Rules.

The email address you give when you buy is used only to send your files and your receipt, and to help if something goes wrong with your order. We share it with Razorpay (so it is linked to your payment) and Resend (which sends the email). Buying never adds you to our email list.
We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details. You type them only on Razorpay's checkout. We don't ask for sensitive data such as health details.
Your choice about emails
Joining our email list is your choice, and you never need to join to buy. Buying does not add you to the list. You can leave at any time with the "unsubscribe" link in every email, or by writing to us. Leaving is as easy as joining.
Cookies
Our website uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and no tracking pixels. The payment checkout and the email sign-up page are run by Razorpay and MailerLite, and they may use their own cookies. Shops you reach through affiliate links may use cookies to record that you came from us.
Services that handle data for us
- MailerLite: our email list and emails.
- Razorpay: payments and refunds.
- Hostinger: website hosting and server logs.
- Google (Gmail, Google Drive and Google Sheets): support emails and delivering your files. When you copy a template into your own Google, Notion or Canva account, that company's own privacy policy applies to your copy.
- Resend: sends your automatic delivery email and receipt.
These are well-known services, and each protects your data under its own privacy and security standards. We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with these services, or when the law requires.
How we keep it safe
We use two-step sign-in on all our accounts and strong passwords, and only Komal Devi can see customer data. If a data breach ever affects you, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.
How long we keep it
- Email list: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
- Orders and payments: 8 years from your purchase, because Indian tax law requires business records to be kept. We keep them longer only if a legal matter needs it.
- Support emails: up to 3 years after the matter is closed.
- Website logs: kept by our web host for security, for as long as its policy and the law require.
After that, we delete the data.
Your rights
You can ask us:
- for a summary of your personal data and how we use it;
- to correct, complete or update it;
- to delete it (except records the law makes us keep);
- to withdraw your consent, for example by leaving the email list;
- to name a person who can use these rights for you if you die or can't act yourself.
To ask, email komalsah.contact@gmail.com from the email address you used with us, and include your payment ID if it's about an order. That is how we check it's you.

We confirm we've received your complaint within 48 hours and resolve it within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
Our products and emails are for adults. If you are under 18, please don't join our list or buy without a parent or guardian. If we learn we have a child's data without a parent's consent, we will delete it.
Changes
If we change how we use your data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
